ABOUT

Kris Simms is a Denver based screenwriter, producer and the host of the High Roller Heist podcast (2024). He wrote and produced his first feature film Alien Valley in 2015 and wrote the horror novella, Red Moon Night, in 2019. He is currently producing a feature length documentary about Chris “Crazy Legs” Fonseca, the first comedian with a physical disability to appear on the Late Show with David Letterman

Kris holds a master’s degree from the University of Arizona where he was a Knowledge River Scholar— a Library Science cohort that advances information issues impacting Latino and Native American communities.

He values time with his family, his wife, Carla, and his best little bud, Ziggy. He misses his dad, Ed, and dog, Obi, every day. He is a bonafide old-school board game geek, sees as many films as possible, and he explores the world as much as he can.
